I’ve added a new tag to my blog, to denote diabetic friendly posts! After cooking for both my gluten free husband and my diabetic mother, I have come to realize that there is a lot of cross-over between GF and diabetic friendly meals. Actually, I think I have come to find that cooking GF is much easier than cooking diabetic friendly – but maybe that’s just because I think I have a decent hang of GF cooking by now. So to make it easier for those who may be looking for very low carb meals, I have added a diabetic friendly tag.
DISCLAIMER: As with my gluten free and dairy free tags, I do not purport to have any medical credentials or knowledge to safely say for each individual what is safe for them or not. If you are not sure if a particular dish is right for you, you need to check with a certified health care professional who can best assess your specific dietary and medical needs. Only you and your doctor can know if something is ok for you to eat. I add the tags because they may be helpful to readers seeking inspiration for meals when on restricted diets, but I am NOT a medical doctor NOR am I a certified nutritionist.

As long as you’re creating tags…I know you’re not a doctor nor a nutritionist, but I would love a tag with foods that are low in salt if possible. TIA! : )
That’s so awesome!!!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!
